FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs) // POLICIES:

  • How long do READY TO SHIP CREATIONS take to ship? 
    • My ready-to-ship creations have already been made. A ready-to-ship item is dropped off at the post office same day or 1-2 days after purchasing. Free shipping on all orders if you chose Ground Advantage Delivery which usually takes 3–6 days for transit. 
      • Expedited Shipping: expedited shipping a fast method for sending creations that must reach your destination by a specific deadline! If you decide to purchase expedited shipping, your order will be shipped same day and will take 1-2 days to deliver to your residence! 

        If you purchase expedited shipping you are responsible to cover the cost which is $35. 

  • What is a ready to ship piece VS a made to order piece VS a custom?
    • Pinecone: pinecone 
      • Crochet Mini Skirt Custom Order:  you will choose your desired color(s), what waist size in inches you want the skirt made it, and you desired length. you can also chooseto add an adjustable crochet string belt for no additonal charge! message me on instagram to place this order at @nomadiknymph or email me at nomadiknymph@gmail.com
      • READY TO SHIP: A ready-to-ship piece is already made and will be packaged and sent out shortly after your order is placed. When purchasing ready to ship pieces, you will receive the exact piece in the listing that you purchase!
      • MADE TO ORDER (message me on instagram): A made to order purchase means you would like to purchase the same piece as shown in a ready to ship listing or any other listing, but in a different size / different accessory/ color. For example, if you would like a black jumpsuit that I posted but it is not in your size, you can request a made to order of that romper in your desired size or color!
      • CUSTOM ORDER ( message me on instagram): A custom order is collaborative process that results in a one-of-a-kind piece crafted exclusively for you! You will let me know what product you want created. We will discuss what size, color, if you want to add any add ons and when you need it by! Below I have listed various optiopns of items that can be a custom 
      • SLIT WEAVE: romper, jumpsuit, fairy dress, dresses, tops, bottoms, thigh high socks, arm warmers. You will choose a braided pattern/design, color of the base piece, positioning of the cuts.You can also choose an add on such as jump rings, kandi beads, or charms for an additonal cost. For example, if you like a black romper but you would like it in pink and with more coverage on the booty, you can request a custom of that romper in pink with more coverage on the booty.
      • Crochet: I offer custom orders on most of my crochet creations. Im an experienced crochet artist and can make almost anything desired! You can send me inspiration or reference photos of what you want created and I can let you know if I can make it for you. Cat hats + blaclavas, mini skirts, any tops, maxi skirt. You will chose what color or colors of yarn for your custom order! For example, you want to order a mini skirt with earth tone color yarn such as brown and greens, you want your butt fully covered, and made to ur waist size which is a 28 in" waist, i would create that! the options are endless
      • Pinecones: I offer sizes mini, small, medium, and large sized pinecones. Pricing is varied based on size of pinecone and what crystal you choose! 
  • How long will my MADE TO ORDER PIECE OR CUSTOM PIECE take to be made and shipped? 
    • My current wait time is approximately 1-3 weeks. This means that if you purchase today, the piece might be finished in 1 week and shipped out, or it can take 3 weeks to get it done and shipped out. 
    • Please let me know before purchasing the date you need it by in order to guarantee that it will come in time and to avoid priority / rush fees. 
  • Do you offer priority shipping?
    • Yes, you may chose to upgrade to priority shipping, you will pay for it! 
    • Please add priority shipping to your cart at checkout. It will be $15 to ship priority which means it will arrive in 2-5 business days instead of 2-6 days. This also gauruntees that I will ship it out next day.  ONLY APPLIES FOR READY-TO-SHIP ORDER { This does not apply for custom order or made to order order} 
  • How does payment work?
    • I take payment prior to starting on a made to order or custom piece. Please message me on instagram to start an order. My instagram is @nomadiknymph
    • Payment Plans:  I do offer payment plans on all orders through my website! “Buy Now, Pay Later” option that lets customers split their purchases into smaller payments at checkout. 
    • I also will accept payments through zelle, cahsapp, or paypal! message me on instagram or facebook and we can arrange payment. If you chose to not purchase through my website, you are resposible for paying $10 for shipping
  • How much is shipping?
    • Orders placed through my website include free shipping unless you need priority shipping or express shipping. Please direct message me on instagram @nomadiknymph if you need priotriy or express shipping to encusre we are both on the same page of the deadline you need an order delivered. 
  • Do you offer refunds or exchanges? 
    • All sales are final. I do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges. To make sure you get the perfect fit, please refer to the size chart or sizing info before purchasing. And if you’re unsure about sizing, feel free to send me a message on Instagram with your measurements and a recent photo — I’d love to help with sizing!
  • What happens if my package was lost, stolen, or damaged in the mail?
    • I (NomadikNymph) am not responsible for nor liable for packages once they have been dropped off at the post office as it is now out of my hands. I am not responsible for nor liable for any lost, damaged, or stolen packages. If you feel that you have an extenuating circumstance, please direct message me on instagram @nomadiknymph or email me at nomadiknymph@gmail.com with your order details for further evaluation and discussion. 
    • If your package says "delivered in mailbox" or "left at person's door" and you cannot find your package, make sure it is not at any mailing room in your apartment, also try calling and actually go to your local post office in your city to make sure they did not hold it there for any reason or put it in a delivery locker (they sometimes do this if they cannot find or access your address). 
  • What happens if my package was returned to the sender due to incorrect address, inadequate address, forgetting to put an apartment number, etc?
    • If your tracking number ever states that your package was returned to the sender for any reason, please  please direct message me on instagram @nomadiknymph or email me at nomadiknymph@gmail.com with your order details.
    • It is your responsibility to check the tracking number to see where your package is. If you see that the tracking says it was "Returned to Sender", then you are responsible for messaging me and letting me know that you need to purchase another shipping label. 
    • You will be responsible for purchasing a new shipping label so that I can send the package back to you. 
    • PLEASE make sure you include any apartment numbers, building numbers, suite numbers, floor numbers, unit numbers, etc. to ensure that the employees at the post office can take it to the proper place instead of returning it to me. 
  • Do you have international shipping available? 
    • Yes. Please direct message me on instagram @nomadiknymph in order to discuss international shipping.
    • I am not responsible for international shipping charges (which vary from $25-45 depending on country).
    • I am also not responsible nor liable for any duty charges upon delivery of your package to your country. 
  • How do I clean my slitweave clothing?
    • I recommend hand washing your piece in cold water with gentle detergent that does not have bleach or any harsh chemicals. 
    • Do not submerge your piece in water for a long period of time to preserve charms and accessories for as long as possible. 
    • Do NOT put your piece in the dryer. Hang to dry / Air dry. 
  • How does sizing work? Do you offer plus sizes? Tall girl friendly? 
    • In general, sizing for tops and bottoms is true to size due to the extremely stretchy material. Even though the pieces shrink a little bit with the weave, they have a lot of give and stretch. 
    • I recommend your true to size or sizing up for jumpsuits, bodysuits, and rompers because these shrink a lot more with intricate weaving and braiding. 
    • Most of my jumpsuits and bottoms can fit up to about 6'1. 
    • PLUS SIZES: For most pieces, yes! If you have any questions about sizing or are in between sizes please do not hesitate to direct message me on instagram @nomadiknymph or email me at nomadiknymph@gmail.com
    • In this email, please include your measurements for waist, hip, thigh, height, bra, and a recent photo of yourself that shows your shape. Also include which piece you are interested in. 
  • What are your measurements for size reference?
    • I wear a size medium in leggings, flare pants and shorts, some crop tees, tank tops. I also fit a size small for tops 
    • I wear a size medium for jumpsuits and rompers. I can fit into a small but it is slightly too tight for my liking. 
    • With my measurements:
    • Height: 5'9
    • Waist at belly button: 28 in 
    • Waist at hip bones: 38 in
    • Hip at thickest part of booty: 41 in 
    • Thigh around thickest part of one leg: 21.5 in
    • Upper bust: 35.5 in
    • Lower bust: 30 in 
    • Bust at nipple: 37 in 
  • What material do you use for your pieces?
    • I use a mix of cotton // spandex blends and polyester // spandex blends.
    • Cotton pieces are fire safe. 
  • Can I resell my piece if it does not fit or after I wear it?
    • There are tons of facebooks groups for festival // rave clothing resale where you can sell or trade your piece if you'd like! 
  • Crochet Hat Sizing : my crochet hats and balaclavas are all one size. If you would like to send me exact measurements of then size of your head message me on instagram at @nomadiknymph
